With a new brand comes promotional materials and POS pieces. From an inaugural release video to a brochure and sell sheets, the support materials needed to reflect the strength of this bold wine.
I edited this video and supporting music to introduce and promote Pillars of Hercules. One of the winery sales reps had a booming, "Morgan Freeman" type voice, so I asked him to read a provided script for the voiceover.
The winery owner really liked the idea of using cylinders to send wine samples to VIPs. The search was on to find ones that would work to fit the wine bottles and to stay within the tight budget. I designed the label to wrap completely around the exterior of the cardboard cylinders. For the wine bottle wraps, I angled the artwork to fit on a tabloid-sized page to fit nicely around the bottles. For a low-cost, we were able to achieve a high end look.
For the inaugural party display in the tasting room - I wanted to decorate with some opulence to reflect power of the ancient Greek culture and the boldness of the Pillars of Hercules. I had the illustration printed on canvas that I cut into a banner shape. I cut down a 1.5" dowel and screwed on cabinet pulls on the ends and painted to create the illusion of a flag banner. I used gold leaf ribbon to string down from a chandelier using a frame I built for a glittery effect. Photo credit: Heather Gwerder Photography
Impactful outdoor signage - 48" x 48" UV coated signs were printed on 6 mil pvc. These outdoor signs were low cost, but an impactful way to promote the new wine brand.
Emphasizing this bold Red Blend wine, I added red duotone panels to this brochure with the finished size of 5" x 6.5". The copy included quotes from the viticulturist and winemaker and was kept simple and impactful. Other POS pieces I have designed can be found here: tech sheet | shelf talker
